This college student is suing her parents for all they stole from her.
The Redditor's great-aunt placed a high value on education for women and saved a ton of money to pay the college tuition for the Redditor and other women in the family. However, when it was time for the original poster (OP) to go to college, she found out that nearly all of those funds were used by her parents to help pay for her brother's wedding. Not only is that unethical considering the money was meant for OP, but also it just goes to show that OP's parents were actively dishonoring their relative's value on education for the women of their family.
